I watched Re-Animator and Bride of Re-Animator for the very first time recently and was absolutely floored by its rich homoerotic subtext. So many thoughts I had while watching the films- and running uninterrupted within my head since- you elucidate and elaborate on, even expertly referencing queer theory, media analysis of homosexuality in horror, and psychological theory (which I also found myself turning towards).
